Bosch dishwasher E25
The Bosch dishwasher E25 error means the drain pump is blocked or its cover is loose — something is jamming the pump impeller. On a Bosch dishwasher the E25 code often comes from a foreign object (glass, a fruit sticker, a pit) that slipped past the filter into the pump. Show SightLine the pump area under the filter and a plumber persona walks you through clearing the Bosch E25 error.

Steps to fix bosch dishwasher e25
- Turn the dishwasher off at the wall or breaker before reaching into the pump — you never want it starting while your hand is in there.
- Scoop out the standing water, then lift out the bottom rack and remove the filter assembly at the tub floor.
- Lift off the drain-pump cover under the filter (it usually twists or lifts free) and check it wasn't loose or missing — a loose cover alone triggers E25.
- Reach in gently and clear any glass shard, sticker, pit, or debris jamming the pump impeller; make sure the impeller can turn.
- Seat the pump cover firmly, reinstall the filter, close up, and restore power.
- Run a short cycle; if E25 returns with a clear, seated pump, the drain pump motor has failed and needs replacing by an appliance pro.
Safety first: if a step calls for gas, a main water or sewer line, a service panel or main breaker, or a sealed refrigerant system, stop and call a licensed pro — Repair Copilot will tell you when you're there.
