Steps to fix frigidaire dishwasher i30 error

  1. Shut off the dishwasher's water supply valve under the sink first, and if the drain pump won't stop running, kill power at the breaker too.
  2. Remove the lower kick panel and soak up the water in the base pan with towels — the leak switch needs a dry pan before the i30 alert will reset.
  3. If you used regular dish soap or over-dosed detergent, that suds overflow alone can trip i30 once — switch to a proper dishwasher detergent dose.
