Steps to fix samsung dishwasher lc code

  1. Unplug the dishwasher or switch off its breaker before reaching underneath — LC can keep the drain pump running and you want the machine dead first.
  2. Leave it powered off for about 15 minutes and let the drip pan under the tub dry out — a one-off splash or condensation often clears LC for good once the pan is dry.
  3. If the dishwasher was just installed and drains through a garbage disposal, confirm the disposal's drain knockout cap was punched out — a capped disposal backs water into the base pan and is a classic LC trigger.
  4. Check your detergent: only dishwasher detergent, and not too much — excess suds overflow into the pan and fool the leak sensor.
  5. Restore power and run a short cycle, watching under the door and at the hose connections for any fresh water.
  6. If LC keeps coming back, water really is reaching the pan — a hose, door seal, or pump seal is leaking — so call an appliance-repair pro before it soaks the floor.
