Steps to fix samsung fridge of of (cooling off)

  1. Confirm the symptom: the panel reads OF OF, O FF, or shows scrolling bars, and the fridge is warm even though the display and light work — that's Demo/Cooling Off mode.
  2. On most models, press and hold the Power Freeze and Power Cool (or Freezer and Fridge) buttons together for about 8 seconds until you hear a chime.
  3. On models with a Lock, try holding Temp, Power Freeze, and Lock at the same time until it chimes.
  4. Listen for the chime and watch the display switch from OF OF to real temperatures — that means cooling is back on.
  5. Give the fridge a few hours to pull down to temperature before restocking cold food.
  6. If the exact button combo differs on your model, check the sticker inside the fridge or your manual; if OF OF won't clear with any combo, the control panel may need service.
