Steps to fix samsung washer dc error

  1. Open the washer and untangle the laundry, spreading it evenly around the drum — clothes clumped on one side make the drum shake hard enough to trip DC.
  2. If you're washing one bulky item like a comforter, add a couple of towels of similar weight so the drum can balance itself.
  3. Squeeze a few items — if the clothes are still soaking wet and heavy, the last drain never finished, so check the drain-pump filter and drain hose for a clog.
  4. Press down on each corner of the machine — if it rocks, adjust the leveling feet until it sits solid, because an unlevel washer throws the drum off balance every spin.
  5. Close the door firmly and restart the spin; on a few Samsung models DC is a door error rather than a balance error, so check the door seal for trapped fabric and confirm what your model's manual says DC means.
  6. If DC keeps coming back on a balanced, level machine with a normal load, the suspension or the sensor that reads drum vibration needs an appliance-repair tech to check.
